The G35 was unveiled in 2001 and first released in 2003. Its impact was immediate. Motor Trend[[2327]] named it the Car of the Year, and Car and Driver[[2522]] had it on its 10 Best list. It was built on a Front Midship platform, with its engine positioned further back in the engine bay for a more even weight distribution.

The 2006 G35’s interior was enhanced with new gauges, dash, center console and aluminum trim. Outside, the headlights, taillights and spoiler got a new look. Performance-wise, HP was increased to 298, and it was outfitted with bigger, better brakes.

The all-new G37 replaced the celebrated INFINITI G35 in 2008. Under the hood was a new a 3.7-liter engine that pumped out 330 horsepower—32 more than its predecessor. In 2009, the G37’s evolution continued with the addition of All Wheel Drive, which proved very popular with drivers in the colder, snowier parts of the country.

Designed to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the INFINITI marque, ESSENCE was an exploration of the future of INFINITI performance and style. A revolutionary 592 horsepower gas/hybrid engine gave it supercar power, a custom-made Louis Vuitton luggage set highlighted the interior, and a daring exterior design set the course for the signature style we see in every INFINITI produced today.

The Q60 Concept debuted at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show and turned every head in the building. Rarely do the most radical elements of a concept car make it to the production model, but they did with the Q60 Concept. We just dropped the word “Concept” and went ahead and built it.
