The Q40 was equipped with innovative traction technologies like Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) to help correct oversteer or understeer and keep the vehicle on its steered path, and a Traction Control System (TCS) to help enhance rear-wheel grip when accelerating. Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD)

The Q40 AWD featured INFINITI's ATTESA E-TS® (Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All Electronic Torque Split) Intelligent All-Wheel Drive—a state-of-the-art system that delivers power where and when you need it. By automatically diverting up to 50% of the power to the front wheels, the system enhances control in adverse conditions. When AWD is not needed, it sends 100% of the power to the rear wheels for serious road performance.

INFINITI Navigation System

The available INFINITI Navigation System[[5053]] enhanced your Q40 journey, no matter how great the distance. This system includes: INFINITI Voice Recognition, a high-res touchscreen supporting Birdview™ perspective control, detailed traffic information with NavTraffic[[5119]], comprehensive weather forecasts with NavWeather[[5119]], as well as Lane Guidance to indicate the correct lane to be in when approaching an exit.
