Q: Bluetooth® Set-Up Instructions

Step 1: Set Up Your Device Open Settings > Bluetooth® on your phone and make sure the functionality is switched on. Step 2: Set Up Your Vehicle Press MENU hard key to get started. On your vehicle’s audio system, select Settings > Bluetooth® > Connect Device > Add New to register your device. Step 3: Pair Your Device Navigate through to Settings > Bluetooth® on your device and select MY-CAR. Step 4: Confirm Pairing Check that the PIN shown on your vehicle and device are the same. Accept the pairing request on your device and select OK. Step 5: Confirm Any Pop-ups Your device and vehicle should now be paired. Confirm any additional pop-ups.

Bluetooth® adapters do not work—only cell phones with Bluetooth® built in and listed as an INFINITI-recommended phone will operate correctly. [[5550]]

What features does Bluetooth® offer in my vehicle?

Once you pair an INFINITI-recommended Bluetooth® cellular phone to the vehicle, the following features are available:

- Hands-free mobile phone operation with a built-in microphone and utilization of the audio speaker
- Ability to switch between a hands-free call and a private call
- Vehicle-based phonebook
- Voice commands and verbal feedback prompts
- Choice of different ring tones

What do I do if Bluetooth® phone is having trouble connecting?

Having problems with Bluetooth® even after setting it up?
Follow these tips to optimize your connectivity:

Enhance Connection:
   • Position device near display for optimal signal
   • Ensure device is adequately charged
   • Consider using AUX or USB alternative
Reset Connection:
   • Toggle Bluetooth® off and on
   • Remove existing pair and reconnect
   • Restart both device and vehicle
Verify Settings:
   • Confirm Bluetooth® is enabled
   • Set device to 'Discoverable'
