The Technology Behind Our Philosophy
We don't just talk about innovation. We engineer it.
Our VR-series 3.0L V6 Twin-Turbo engine debuted in 2016 and changed the INFINITI performance game. Available in the Q50 and Q60, it produced 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Performance trims pushed that to 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
But power is just part of the story. We didn't just build an engine—we engineered obsession:
Mirror bore coating that reduces friction because efficiency matters
Turbines spinning at 240,000 rpm because immediate response is non-negotiable
