Forward Emergency Braking
Forward Emergency Braking (FEB)[*] uses sensors to continuously monitor and analyze your closing speed to the vehicle ahead of you, helping detect an imminent collision. It provides a two-stage warning to alert the driver as the vehicle moves toward impact. If the driver takes no action, the system automatically engages the brakes to help reduce collision speed and impact, helping to mitigate the consequences of the accident.

Predictive Forward Collision Warning
Anticipate the Road Ahead
This world's first system warns the driver of risks that may be obscured from the driver's forward field of view. It can not only sense the relative velocity and distance of a vehicle directly ahead, but also of a vehicle travelling in front of the preceding one.[*]
Two vehicles ahead
A vehicle slows down suddenly and unexpectedly, triggering a potentially dangerous situation.
Directly in front
The driver reacts to the sudden slowdown by quickly stepping on the brakes, but it may not be enough to prevent a collision.
Because of Predictive Forward Collision Warning, you have already been alerted to the potential risk and can respond accordingly, helping to avoid a collision.[*]
Lane Departure Prevention
Lane Departure Prevention (LDP)[*] helps keep your vehicle from unintentionally drifting from your lane. The available system utilizes a camera to monitor the distance between the vehicle and lane markings. If the vehicle drifts unintentionally towards the lane markers, the system first sounds an audible warning, then lightly applies selected brakes to help you ease your vehicle back into its lane.

Infiniti Engineers have developed advanced systems that work in unison to help protect driver and passengers in the event of a collision. Explore to learn more about the safety features of the QX80[*].
Respond to the Unexpected
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)[*] helps correct oversteer or understeer by applying brake pressure to individual wheels and adjusting the engine's power output. The Traction Control System (TCS) helps enhance rear-wheel grip when accelerating by sensing wheelspin and automatically reducing engine output and/or braking the spinning wheel.

Blind Spot Warning System
What You See
Infiniti’s intuitive Blind Spot Warning System[*] helps alert the driver to vehicles detected in the blind spot area. An indicator light illuminates if the presence of another vehicle is detected in the blind spot area. If the driver engages the turn signal, the indicator flashes and an audible warning sounds.
