Infiniti QX 4.5 5 34 62
Perfect in every way! Through the years I have purchased almost every full size SUV on the market and one of the smaller SUV's. When I bought my QX I was thrilled! It has turned out to be the best SUV in my experience. The look, handling (both dry and wet conditions) is exceptional. The seats are comfortable for both men and petite women, which has been a challenge for me in the past.Typically, I purchase a new vehicle every two (2) years. I have now had my QX for over two (2) years and have no desire to change! My husband has offered several times and I say "sure" let’s go get a new one of these! It's perfect in every way! kids can't watch a movie on the system while the parents listen to a DVD book...unacceptable! November 29, 2012
great exterior apperance The doors are not heavy enough, it sounds like tin when the doors close. The rear bench buttons should not have to be held for the seats to fold they should only be click once. November 28, 2012
I love my QX! I purchased my QX in early 2005 and I have been in love with it ever since. I love the quality, style, comfort, and ride. I have never had any real major problems, i.e. multiple trips to repair shop; which shows the quality and care that was put into it while being built. I am always greeted with a friendly smile when I visit my dealership which makes me feel special and proud to be an Infiniti owner. My next purchase will be an Infiniti, a sedan for my son. We are and will be Infiniti owners. Thank you for such a great vehicle and experience since 2005! January 24, 2012
Infiniti makes the perfect luxury SUV My wife and I have been looking for several years for a full size luxury SUV. This 2011 QX has everything we have been looking for at a price that is 10's of thousands less than the competition. The interior is flawless, the ride is smooth but handles like a sedan, power is excellent, and it is a blast to drive. We love everything about it. October 22, 2011
Kick it and go. The only thing I don't like about my QX is the outside window adjustment needs to be up higher and better controls. October 20, 2011
Great Vehicle!!!! The cockpit makes the driver feel so secure. We have a 2011 M56 as well. Going from one to the other is almost seamless. With the added safety features, we are in the safest vehicles on the road. Just in time for the "winter visitors" to arrive. October 20, 2011
compass this is my third QX and i was wondering why did you get rid of the compass in the rearview mirror? October 20, 2011
I'm the most popular person with all my friends! Since I've owned my Infiniti, everybody wants to ride with me, which is great! That's why I purchased it, so I'd have enough room for all my friends. I love my QX! October 20, 2011
Great vehicle but room for improvement I've been very pleased with my SUV and would consider another once my lease is up.With all of the bells and whistles, Infinity is still behind on some features that other car brands have, including remote start and air conditioned seats. I used these all the time in my prior SUV, but I don't think they're in the 2012 model. The cruise control isn't real smooth, but it gets you up-to-speed in a hurry. But, if you can afford this type of luxury vehicle, you shouldn't be too worried about the gas mileage. The navigation system, voice recognition, 360 degree camera, etc., are all great features. Eat My Dust I love this car!!! When I have to pass a car, it just zooms. I say that is a safety feature because you can get around the car and back in your lane in about 15 seconds. This is a classy car. It looks good on the road and it handles very well. I will buy another one if I can when the time comes. January 26, 2010
A great SUV! This is the third QX56 for us--first a 2004 then a 2006 now a2008. Each has been better than the last. The only shortcoming for us is the lack of daytime running lights. Otherwise, this is the most roomy carof its type on the market. January 26, 2010
Design flaw If I had to find something wrong with the QX, it is the position of the three buttons for the garage door, gate opener etc. It is located on the rear view mirror and very difficult to reach from the drivers' seat January 26, 2010
Love my QX56 This Infiniti has been my favorite car to own and drive. it handles the big loads of people or cargo and still has the pick up of a performance car. Its handling in Auto mode in wet or snowy conditions has been stellar. It is also comfortable in all rows of seating. I lease it now but I may end up buying it. January 26, 2010

The Q is the family truck Last model year before Infiniti moved the Q production to Japan. Great value for the price. No major issues. Was just as I expected. Perfect for hauling stuff and transporting kids for sports/carpooling. Interior is spacious and DVD entertainment is great!. Wish mileage was better but than this is a V8. August 31, 2010
Pampered QX56 I bought this vehicle new in '06 and it has been out of the state once. Mostly it goes to the office and the airport. It currently has 43K miles on it and looks as good as it did the day I brought it home. I was thinking of getting the new QX but when I looked at it, I was very disappointed to see that they eliminated the rear 'flipper' windows along with the ability to open the window on the rear hatch. So, it looks like I'll keep the 'bus" a little longer in hopes that they may refine the new QX with these features. It runs great and I was even able to increase my milage by 2 mpg by replacing the standard air filter with a K&M air filter.I am very satisified with this vehicle!!! "I love my QX" I had a 2003 QX4 and needed more room, so I recently purchased my QX56 and it is everything I hoped it would be. It is perfect for me and the kids and it is so fun to drive. I love having the third row for additional family and room for the stroller as well as groceries. When I need to put the metal to the pedal, I have no problems. I love starting it up because it sounds so powerful. I call it "the beast." I love the room it gives us from having the QX4. This truck is awesome and the gas mileage is not as bad as I thought it would be. I will drive nothing but Infiniti. Need I say more. February 23, 2010
Best large SUV on the market My wife and I purchased our QX about 8 months ago and we love it.This is by far the most comfortable vehicle we've ever owned, the interior room, ride and power are impressive to say the least. My previous vehicle was a 2006 Navigator Ultimate and the QX blows it out the water completely.I would absolutely recommend this vehicle to a friend. February 5, 2010
Driving the Big One The QX 56 is a very large vehicle. For it's size it handles well and a lot of power. The interior design is great and there is plenty of room for 6 of people to travel long distances long distances very comfortably and without sitting on top of each other. The entertainment system and the navigation system make travel very easy and comfortable. If you're looking for a large SUV that's comfortable for a large family, the QX56 is a very good option. overall love this vehicle Especially love the ride power and handling of the vehicle. Haven't had any performance issues. Just slightly dissapointed in the interior materials appear to scratch easily. otherwise no complaints at all January 28, 2010
Does everything well If you need a large SUV with a convenient and usable 3rd row of seating, this is it! Ride is good for a vehicle of this size, comfort is exceptional. Performance is very good and fuel economy not bad.Only complaint is Infiniti's lack of "OnStar"-type of service January 28, 2010
My Ideas for a QX56 Overall the QX56 is a decent vehicle. There are a few changes that would enhance the ownership of this vehicle. Soundproof the interior more from engine noise. Re-design the windshield wiper system so that washer fluid doesn't hit the driver's side window, always requiring the window to be closed when the window is washed. Provide hooks for hanging suit coats, dry cleaning etc. Engineer the vehicle to run on Regular gas instead of Premium and improve gas mileage. Replace the low, dim bulbs in the vanity mirrors with brighter ones or use a switch method from dim to bright. Redesign pillars so that the seat belts don't constantly mar the plastic when retracted. The interior design and space of the QX is amazing. We have easily hauled 8 adults for a day trip to the wine country. The cargo space is large enough to haul a full size refrigerator (which we have done). Unlike most of the competitors we looked at, the seats fold flat into the floor - there is no need to remove them. Obviously, this is a large SUV, which is not sporty or what I would consider "fun to drive". The handling is adequate but we do wish the ride was a bit smoother; it can bounce and jolt at times. This is my daily commute vehicle and while gas mileage is low, it is easy to drive and to navigate through the streets of San Francsico. We have recommended this vehicle a number of times to friends and colleagues. January 27, 2010
Easy to drive and plenty of power. Easy to drive for a large SUV. Nice power anytime you need it. Very modern interior and up to date electronics. Tons of room inside for any seated position. My only complaint is the overuse of flimsy plastic inside. Too many panels move or give way when pushed on and some trim pieces don't seem to fit as tight as they should. January 27, 2010

Opulence My wife and I purchased this vehicle in May of 2011. This is our third Infiniti that we have owned since 2005. In addition, it is the most opulent Infiniti that we have purchased, with the FX being next. The QX is a vehicle, which offers luxury, performance, agility, and an image, which depicts success; thus surpassing all of our expectations. We could not have asked for more from Infiniti, and its family of superb vehicles! October 20, 2011
This car drives great! Handels very well, smooth and easy to drive. overall drives great and is so powerful! love it. I wish the gas tank was larger and had lock on its tank. March 15, 2011
As Good As It Gets Great decision to buy, even better decision to drive. March 15, 2011
Lack interior storage space Limited cup holder space in front seating area. Map pockets in doos to shallow to hold anything. March 14, 2011
Spacious Nice car, beautiful interior. Gas mileage is not the best but it's ok. I have the RWD so I can not take it to the sand beach. Sound is very good. What can annoy you is the safety features such as not able to move the driver seat to a previously memorized setting unless the car is in park or the navigation that you can not type addresses or to have a keypad to dial a phone unless the car is stop. As I said, it makes the car safer but it is annoying. It has voice command but that takes time to train your speech and ahving to repeat several times might be distrcting. It is a pretty solid car, you feel safe with lots of gadgets. Kids love it. Next one I'll buy one with AWD, it might feel like having more power. It is very comfortable too. March 2, 2011
Good Solid Fun This is a very versatile car that works both as a workhorse but also an upscale answer. My kids love to climb in the back and put their headphones and listen to "their music or videos". It makes our roadtrips fun. February 25, 2011
The perfecte large SUV I have been extremely pleased with my QX56, so much so that I have purchased two of them. It has very good acceleration and speed for a large vehicle. Also, there is so much leg room in this car for all of your passengers. The exterior is very attractive as well. But my absolute favorite part of the vehicle is the least "high-tech" part--the very large "hole" in front of the console!! It holds everything that you need to carry, i.e., your phone, IPod, pens, paper, camera, etc. without anything flying about the car. Too bad they took this great feature out of the new model! December 15, 2010
Dan's QX review My QX56 has performed beautifully. While the mpg is not as good as with our QX4, the ride and handlling is remarkable for a vehicle of this size. I am getting about 14 mpg in town and between 18-19.5 mpg on the interstate. While this is above the rated mpg, I try to keep the rpm's below 2000 from stops and use the cruise control whenever possible. The only thing this suv does not have that the QX4 has, is a locking device on the fuel door. That would add some security not found on it today. The sound system is tremendous and the "music box" and GPS system are the best I've seen. For tailgating, this is a real gem of a vehicle. Well done, inside and out. October 20, 2010
Quality awesome Since I purchased my QX56 in December, 2006 till now most people still ask me if that is 2010. The quality and both exterior and interior great. The truck is fun to drive. I will bye more infiniti cars. September 21, 2010
The QX56 is a keeper The QX4s that we had in the past were good fun dependable cars. The QX56 is the Granddaddy of the fleet. It's a winner and a keeper. September 4, 2010
