Imagine a superfast, near silent sports car, cruising the neon-lit streets of an after-dark London. This is the compelling image that gave birth to Infiniti EMERG-E sports car concept.

 

The EMERG-E, which makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2012, is a highly advanced mid-ship sports car with 402bhp and the ability to accelerate from 0–60mph in just four seconds. In addition to thrilling performance, the EMERG-E can also travel in urban conditions for up to 30 miles with zero emissions.

Leading Edge Technology

The EMERG-E is the first Infiniti developed in Europe. More than that, its advanced technology deliberately draws on the knowledge of suppliers beyond Infiniti’s usual base in the quest to uncover the most innovative technology. As a result, Infiniti has become a part of the UK government’s Technology Strategy Board initiative, whose aim is to fast-track the arrival of low carbon vehicles.
