The 2013 Infiniti M® luxury sedan has been awarded a 5-Star overall safety rating by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) under the agency's New Car Assessment Program (NCAP)*.
The 5-Star Safety Ratings System is designed to provide consumers with information about the crash protection and rollover safety of new vehicles. Five stars is the highest possible rating. NHTSA is the only organization that rates rollover resistance.
The 2013 Infiniti M is available with a number of innovative technologies, including Infiniti's Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Prevention (3) systems, which use a small camera to detect lane markers and warn the driver of a potential unintended lane departure.
Also offered are Blind Spot Warning (4) and Blind Spot Intervention® (2) systems - which are available as part of the Technology Package - as well as Intelligent Brake Assist with Forward Collision Warning (1).
