Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD)

Infiniti's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) provides power where and when you need it, instantly adapting to changing conditions. By constantly monitoring wheel-spin, throttle position and vehicle speed, this system automatically diverts up to 50% of the available power to the front wheels, enhancing traction and control in adverse conditions. When all-wheel drive is not needed, the system sends 100% of the power to the rear wheels for more responsive road performance.

4-Wheel Active Steer

By actively turning all four wheels as you steer, 4-Wheel Active Steer elevates handling and the very experience of each corner. The system adjusts steering angle and ratio to vehicle speed, creating a more responsive and fluid sense of control. With natural low-speed feel, responsive mid-speed turn-in, and precise high-speed stability, 4-Wheel Active Steer makes cornering gracefully easy.

Intelligent Brake Assist

Using the system's laser range finder, Forward Collision Warning (FCW) [*] helps alert the driver of a potential collision by providing a visual and audible warning. If the driver doesn't respond, and a collision cannot be avoided, Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) [*] automatically engages the brakes to help reduce collision speed and impact, helping to mitigate the consequences of the accident.

Infiniti has transformed the way you interact with traffic flow through Distance Control Technology. When activated, Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range)[*] provides the enhanced functionality of adding speed and distance intervals to standard cruise control. In slowing traffic Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range) slows your vehicle as traffic slows to help maintain a safe distance, then accelerates to your preset speed and distance as traffic flow increases. Distance Control Assist[*], an industry-first, intuitively helps the driver release the throttle and subtly applies the brakes as needed in slowing traffic.
