An Award-Winning Hybrid Engine: The 2012 Infiniti M® Hybrid
The 2012 Infiniti M Hybrid has been named to the “Ward’s 10 Best Engines” Award list. Designed to honor excellence in automotive engines, winners were chosen from a record list of 38 engines by a team of Ward's judges. The judges used criteria that included horsepower, torque, noise, vibration, harshness, technical specs, relevance against others in their field, and the
“x” factor – that personally subjective feeling a judge has toward each engine as part of the overall package.
Infiniti M® Receives Top Safety Pick Award
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded the 2011 Infiniti M 2010 Top Safety Pick (does not apply to M56x. For more information, see www.iihs.org.). The Infiniti M received the best possible score across all four of the IIHS tests – frontal offset, side impact, roof strength, and rear crash protection.

The 2011 Infiniti M has recently been named "Auto Interior of the Year" in the premium-priced car category by Ward's AutoWorld magazine. Designed to honor excellence in automotive interiors, winners were chosen by a team of eight Ward's editors using criteria that included aesthetics and design harmony, comfort, ergonomics, fit and finish, materials, safety and overall value.
