Adaptive Climate Control System

To maintain a comfortable, consistent temperature even when the top is down, the Adaptive Climate Control System automatically adjusts according to outside temperature and your speed. When it's warm outside and you're slowing down, the A/C blows more air to cool you down as the refreshing wind diminishes. When it's cold outside and you're speeding up, the heater blows more warm air as more cool air enters the cabin.

Advanced Climate Control System

The Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS) features a high-performance, grape polyphenol filter, a Plasmacluster® air purifier that emits charged ions to trap airborne allergens, and an auto-circulation mode that engages when exhaust gases are detected outside the vehicle. These components work together to help prevent polluted air from entering the vehicle, to help filter the air entering the cabin, and to clean the air already in the cabin.

Bose® Open Air Sound System

The Bose® Open Air Sound System monitors ambient noise, vehicle speed and hardtop position. Then it dynamically adjusts the amplifier's equalization to create unrivaled clarity regardless of the driving conditions.

Interface System for iPod®

Just plug in your compatible iPod® and play your favorite songs through an easy-to-use interface that appears on your monitor. Includes a connector located in the center armrest.

Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD)

To help optimize braking performance for a variety of vehicle loads, EBD adjusts the amount of brake force applied to the front and rear wheels for improved braking performance, reduced front-end “dive” under braking and more even brake wear.

Brake Assist (BA)

In emergency situations, many drivers don't brake hard enough, soon enough. Brake Assist monitors how you apply the brakes and, sensing emergency braking, applies maximum brake pressure for potentially shorter stops.

4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

G37 Convertible's large, 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes include a 4-wheel, 4-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to help the driver maintain steering control while braking.

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)

A change in traction can affect your car's stability during cornering. VDC[1] uses an array of sensors to help determine your steered path and to help keep you in control. If your vehicle begins to understeer (plow forward) or oversteer (fishtail), VDC applies appropriate brake pressure to individual wheels and/or reduces engine output to help keep both ends in line.

Traction Control System (TCS)

G37 Convertible's integrated Traction Control System (TCS) senses wheelspin while accelerating and automatically reduces engine output and/or brakes the spinning wheel to help regain traction.

RearView Monitor

Engage reverse and the in-dash monitor shows you what's directly behind from a tiny camera mounted unobtrusively on the trunk. The display features colored guidelines to help give you an accurate sense of how close you are to objects behind – right up to the rear bumper[1].
