Infiniti's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) provides power where and when you need it, instantly adapting to changing conditions. By constantly monitoring wheel-spin, throttle position and vehicle speed, this system automatically diverts up to 50% of the available power to the front wheels, enhancing traction and control in adverse conditions. When all-wheel drive is not needed, the system sends 100% of the power to the rear wheels for more responsive road performance.

Inspired by high-performance sports cars, the EX's Front Midship (FM) platform centers the vehicle's weight to help deliver quick steering response and precise balance through curves. Superior turning radius[*] and independent suspension help intensify the connection between driver and road.

To easily accommodate your seating and cargo needs, the available power up-folding 2nd-row seats can be folded flat from the cargo area - at the push of a button. Both front seats offer available power heating, and the driver's seat has an available memory function that automatically adjusts to your preferred settings.

This bird's-eye perspective is displayed on your in-dash monitor to help you see all around your Infiniti. If you get too close to an object, you'll see a warning on the screen and an audible tone will also sound, giving you greater confidence when parking. [*]

Infiniti has transformed the way you interact with traffic with distance control technologies that help you move with the flow. When activated, Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range)[*] provides the benefits of cruise control with the options of adding speed and distance intervals. In slowing traffic, Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range) provides the added advantage of slowing your vehicle as traffic slows, helping you maintain distance — then, as traffic flow picks up, accelerates to your pre-set speed and distance. Industry-first Distance Control Assist[*], intuitively helps the driver release the throttle and applies the brakes as needed in slowing traffic.
Impact Protection
Infiniti Advanced Air Bag System (AABS)[*] provides dual-stage front supplemental air bags with sensors that adjust inflation rates depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. Front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags help provide additional protection for front occupants. Roof-mounted curtain supplemental air bags deploy from the headliner above the windows, helping to give outboard occupants enhanced head protection. Front-seat Active Head Restraints help reduce whiplash-type injuries, seat belt pretensioners work to help protect occupants in the event of certain types of collision, and Zone Body construction helps maintain the integrity of the passenger compartment. All are ways in which Infiniti technology helps to provide a more comfortable and safer driving experience.
Enhanced Control

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)[*] helps correct oversteer or understeer by applying brake pressure to individual wheels and adjusting the engine's power output. The Traction Control System (TCS) helps enhance rear-wheel grip when accelerating by sensing wheelspin and automatically reducing engine output and/or braking the spinning wheel.
Advanced Braking
Security. Confidence. The 4-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) is enhanced by Brake Assist, which helps apply the maximum brake force you need to be able to help prevent collision. The available Preview Braking[*] function uses the Intelligent Cruise Control laser sensors to detect a rapidly-slowing vehicle ahead, then pre-pressurizes the braking system in anticipation of emergency braking. And Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) helps improve braking performance by actively adjusting the amount of brake force applied to rear wheels.
Lane Departure Prevention

Lane Departure Prevention (LDP)[*] helps keep your vehicle from unintentionally drifting from your lane. The available system utilizes a camera to monitor the distance between the vehicle and lane markings. If the vehicle drifts unintentionally towards the lane markers, the system first sounds an audible warning, then lightly applies selected brakes to help you ease your vehicle back into its lane.
