Infiniti debuts the first-ever Infiniti EX at Pebble Beach

08/18/2007

August 18, 2007 - Pebble Beach is one of the finest golf courses in the world, and the Concours d'Elegance is the showcase for some of the most breathtaking and influential designs in automotive history. It was the perfect setting for Infiniti to reveal the production version of the all-new 2008 Infiniti EX luxury crossover.

In final form, the production EX nearly mirrors the celebrated EX Concept that debuted in April 2007. By starting with the style and passion of a coupe, Infiniti design has transformed the crossover beyond a thoughtful combination of size and capabilities alone. Elevating the EX to the level of a true personal reward, with uniquely elegant, expressive style and tailored luxury.

Motivated by the multiple-award-winning VQ35 engine rated at approximately 297 horsepower and riding on the famed and proven FM platform, the EX offers high levels of handling precision and balance. Prospective buyers can choose between rear-wheel-drive performance or the all-weather traction of Infiniti's ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system.

With the EX, Infiniti will also introduce several groundbreaking new technologies. Lane Departure Prevention [*] is the next step from the Infiniti-first Lane Departure Warning system to help prevent your vehicle from unintentionally straying from your lane. And Around View Monitor[*] helps provide a clear picture of objects around you.

The all-new Infiniti EX arrives in showrooms in late December 2007. See the EX luxury crossover now by clicking on the link below, or click here to download Infiniti's EX Debut Press Release.
