April 4, 2007 -At the 2007 New York International Auto Show Infiniti unveiled the all-new 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe, set to arrive at Infiniti retailers nationwide in August 2007. With a seductively redesigned exterior and intensified performance, the new G Coupe is a powerful expression of Infiniti design.

Leading the enhancements to the G Coupe is the new 3.7-liter V6 engine with VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift). Improving both performance and efficiency, it helps the new G Coupe achieve an estimated 330 horsepower and 274 lb-ft of torque. The G Coupe's handling is equally enhanced with a more rigid platform, an available 4-Wheel Active Steer system (4WAS) that increases both stability and response, and high-performance 4-piston front brake calipers. With this leading performance design, braking and handling is targeted to be among the best in the luxury sport coupe class.
