About Bluetooth®

  • Bluetooth is a wireless technology that enables connectivity between multiple electronic devices by utilizing a 2.4 GHz radio spectrum that has a range of approximately 30 feet.

Bluetooth will allow you to use your cell phone hands-free in the vehicle.

For more information about Bluetooth wireless technology, please visit <a href="https://www.bluetooth.com/">www.bluetooth.com</a>

  • Bluetooth compatibility will vary based on the vehicle model and trim. <a href="http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/device-compatibility">Check Device Compatibility</a> to determine availability.

  • Not all Bluetooth phones are compatible.

Phones must have the Bluetooth hands-free profile and be listed as a infiniti-recommended phone to ensure compatibility and quality operation.

We do that by continually evaluating existing and newly released Bluetooth phones.

Want to see if your device is compatible? <a href="http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/device-compatibility">Check Device Compatibility</a>.

  • When a software version is noncompatible, major calling functions, like making, accepting, and ending phone calls, do not function properly and/or the Bluetooth connection is not stable.

<a href="http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/device-compatibility">Check Device Compatibility</a>, and update to the latest compatible software version listed for your device.

If youre still having trouble, <a href="http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/contact-us">contact us</a>.

  • Existing Bluetooth phones that are not listed are either being tested for compatibility if new, or are not recommended, because they have not passed infiniti testing.

Major calling functions, like making, accepting, and ending phone calls, did not function properly and/or the Bluetooth connection was not stable.

If your phone is not listed, limited functions may be available, but the system will not operate correctly or to its fullest capability.

Want to see if your device is listed? <a href="http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/device-compatibility">Check Device Compatibility</a>

  • We’re always on the lookout for new phones, testing the most recent Bluetooth® phones for compatibility with your infiniti.

If you <a href="http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/device-compatibility">checked Device Compatibility</a> for the device you want to use with our Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System, but did not see it listed, <a href="http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/contact-us">contact us</a>.

  • Bluetooth adapters do not work, only cell phones with Bluetooth built in and listed as a Infiniti-recommended phone will operate correctly.

  • Once you pair an Infiniti-recommended Bluetooth cellular phone to the vehicle, the following features are available:

    • Hands-free mobile phone operation with a built-in microphone and utilization of the audio speaker
    • Ability to switch between a hands-free call and a private call
    • Vehicle-based phonebook
    • Voice commands and verbal feedback prompts
    • Choice of different ring tones

You can obtain information on how to operate the features of the system in either your vehicle owner's manual or the Quick Reference Guide

  • Charging cradles are not available. Please use the in-vehicle charger available through your cellular carrier or phone manufacturer.

  • A subscription fee is not required to use the Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System.

  • You don't have to subscribe to a Bluetooth-specific carrier. The system uses your existing carrier.

  • The Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System is covered under the basic warranty of 36 months/36,000 miles (whichever occurs first).

  • Have a question or issue about using Bluetooth with your infiniti?

    <a href="http://www.infinitiusa.com/bluetooth/contact-us">Contact Us</a>

Please note that Bluetooth support is limited to infiniti-recommended phones.
